I hate to give bad reviews to small businesses but I must say I wanted to give even less stars. Upon entering it was very cramped. We were standing around for a few minutes before someone finally yelled at us to sit wherever we would like. After about 5-10 minutes someone finally came over to ask if we would like something to drink. She took our food order and advised us that the kitchen was backed up and it may take a little longer for the food. It was about a 30 minute wait to get our food which seemed like an eternity with our two year old but we definitely tried to wait patiently. When the food finally came out my husband and myself were very disappointed with the flavor. I read a few reviews that said that it was basic and I would use the exact same term. I had eggs benedict and it seemed so flavorless the potatoes were cut in so many different sizes and cooked very unevenly. The pepper shaker we were given completely turned me off. The top was so gross, it looked like someone dipped it in their eggs (years ago) and it crusted over. The waitress was friendly and attentive and that's really the only reason I gave the rating I did or else it would have been lower. This was my first experience and I understand that it was on a very busy Sunday morning but I doubt that I would be returning.
Gloria the waitress she was so sweet so nice so courteous. the cook came out and he was wonderful to it was just a wonderful atmosphere to have lunch. I had breakfast my husband had lunch. the food was excellent as if it came out of my own kitchen. I'd highly recommend it I'm a very very picky person and believe me when I tell you it was a wonderful place an the food was delicious. I was very satisfied with my experience and so is my husband very very reasonably priced it's like a a walk back in time with family that's the feeling I got when I walked in.
I love coming for breakfast here everytime I am in Port Saint Lucy. They make me feel like family and the food is delicious. The owner will greet you and the waiters are willing to help. The country fried steak was cooked for order and the fresh toast was good.
My husband and I visited this restaurant 🍴 for the first time for breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Joyce was our server and she was very friendly provided great service. We will definitely be back!!!!
They got nice food for fair price but looks dingy inside even there’s a natural light.
WOW! If your belly needs fed and your spirits lifted, you need to go to Dawn’s Cafe! Recently while visiting Port St Lucie, Fl from Texas I went to Dawn’s Cafe while waiting for my truck to be repaired. While feeling like I’m going through tuff storms in life due to vehicle problems I immediately felt uplifted and at peace because the environment at Dawn’s Cafe. My server Ivette, made me feel very welcomed and the back ground music is very pleasing and uplifting. The interior decor is beautiful making me feel at home. I shared with Dawn the owner of Dawn’s Cafe how delightful the environment is and how comfortable I felt. She is a terrific person as well as all the wait staff being attentive to the customers needs. By observing the other customers I can see how pleased they are with their experience. The other great news is that the food is awesome!!! I ordered the turkey club sandwich. Made with generous layers of meat. It was delicious! Dawn’s Cafe just celebrated their one year anniversary and I believe Dawn’s Cafe will be around for many more years to come. Next time I go to Florida I will definitely make plans to visit Dawn’s Cafe again. Do yourself a favor and experience this terrific restaurant.
I love this place! I've been coming since they opened. The food is great and the place has a good family atmosphere. Best breakfast I've had in a while and the menu is very reasonably priced. I always feel at home here. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.
We enjoyed a happy family meet up at Dawn's cafe. The owners and staff were extremely accommodating to our party of 17. We look forward to regular visits for comfort food in a family like atmosphere.
